What's New in BurnRateIQ

New features and improvements, newest first. Follow along with the RSS feed, or try the demo to see them on a sample company.

    • Suggested Plan Changes in Your Health Emails

Your daily, weekly and monthly health emails now list the plan changes BRIQ suggests, newest first, each with what it would change. Review them in BurnRateIQ from the link in the email.

    • QuickBooks Online Is Live

Intuit approved BurnRateIQ, so you can connect any QuickBooks Online company from Data Sources or setup. The connection is read-only: BurnRateIQ reads your books and never writes back.

    • Gusto Payroll Report Upload and Integration Requests

Upload Gusto's Payroll Journal report to fill in your team and pay. Every system you can't connect yet has a Request This Integration button, so you can tell us which ones you need.

    • SaaS Benchmarks and Glossary Pages

The benchmark library BurnRateIQ compares you with is now public, with every source and date. The glossary defines runway, burn multiple, NRR and more the way the app calculates them. See it.

    • Public Subprocessors List

See every company that processes customer data for BurnRateIQ, what each one handles and where. See it.

    • Company Switcher Keeps Your Page

Switching companies now keeps you on the page and tab you were on. Owners can also delete a company whose setup isn't finished, right from the setup window.

    • Investor Portfolio

Investors you invite get one page with cash, runway, burn, ARR and growth for every company that shares with them. You decide in Settings > Team whether investors see KPIs only or the full model.

    • Investor Updates Add Team, Outlook and Operations

The monthly investor update draft now covers hires and departures, planned hires, next quarter's forecast and budget variances, all from your model. Individual pay never goes into the draft.

    • Company Health Emails

Get your company's numbers by email daily, weekly or monthly. Monthly is on by default; turn the others on in Settings > Notifications.

    • Setup Reads Your Industry and Suggests a Funding Stage

Setup fills in your industry from your accounting system and suggests a funding stage from your revenue and equity raised. Imports show each stage as they run, such as Importing P&L: 18 of 24 months.

    • Setup Suggests Your Pricing Plans

Setup suggests your plans from your books, or uses the plans already in your billing system. During the Pro trial, the top bar shows the days you have left.

    • Bring Your Existing Model

Upload your current model in any layout and check what BurnRateIQ read on one review screen. If it read something wrong, ask for a Free Model Review and our team corrects it.

    • One-Time Model

Pay once and get your model as an Excel file with live formulas, without a subscription. For 7 days after delivery you can fix any number and regenerate the file for free. See it.

    • Ask BRIQ

Ask questions about your own numbers from the header on any page. BRIQ answers from your model and shows the figures it used.

    • Investor Update Drafts, Board Deck and Fundraising Readiness

Draft your monthly investor update from the model, build a board deck, and see how ready you are to raise.

    • Comments and Named Snapshots

Comment on any table cell and @-mention a teammate to assign a task. Save the plan under a name and compare against it later.

    • More Pricing Models

Model usage-based, hybrid, transaction, unit-sale and annual-contract revenue alongside subscriptions. Describe how you charge in your own words and BurnRateIQ drafts the plans.

    • FreshBooks and Zoho Books

Connect FreshBooks or Zoho Books, read-only, to build your model from your books.

    • Excel Export With Live Formulas

Download your model as an Excel file where every line is a live formula investors can trace. A Sources tab shows where each outside assumption comes from, and a Checks tab ties the tabs together.

Try It on Your Own Numbers

Start free from your books, your statements or your existing model. Plans and prices are on Pricing.
